2004 mercury grand marquis door lock only lock one are a few at at time

Ok soo I have a 2004 mercury grand
marquis when you go to lock the doors
only one door and a few will lock you have
to press the lock button a few times for all
the doors to lock the cam will also not go
into program mode to program the key fob
what do you guys think is going on thank
you

First thing I would do is have the car's battery tested and clean all the battery terminals. Low voltage at the battery can cause all kinds of weird issues like that.
