Will a 2003 transmission fit in a2000 Mercury
grand Marquis

They both use the same 4r70w tranny so they should, but there's no guarantee since 2000 was part of the 3rd generation and 2003 is in the 4th generation. Both bolt up to a 4.6L engine, so everything appears that it should just bolt right up.
