Why is the Heat in my mercury grand marquis is not blowing out ?
There are a couple of reasons. 1.) there is little or no coolant in circulation 2.) the thermostat does not open when the motor reaches operating temperature (should open to release coolant thru the heat exchanger 3.) the fan is not blowing, so you just can't tell 4.) check the temperature guage it should be in the middle or slightly lower. a five minute drive would warm the motor- 5.) in a single effort would say change your thermostat so it opens up at operating temperature, warm coolant will circulate thru the heat exchanger...and you will have heat!
Thank you. I'm check on this in the Am
