98 town car misfire 7th cylinder

Please help i changed the plug and coil still get bad
performance and battery light comes off and on i
disconnected the pos. Terminal and the alternator
kept me running why do i still have a misfire any
ideas?

Cylinder 7 has a mis. And idk if its bc my battery is just bad could this be why and the service light comes on the back off

May be either failing battery or failing alternator. Suggest getting your charging system tested at an auto parts store. Many do it for free. The bad performace and misfire could be unrelated to battery light, but should check charging system before digging deeper.
