Tail lights and dash lights are out, but everything else works?

I have a 1991 Lincoln Towncar, and the tail lights went out, and the dash lights
went out. It happened at the same time. All other lights are fine. Any ideas? The
fuses have been checked, and that's not the problem.

Did you only check the fuse box that is inside the car? Or did you also check the fuse box under the hood?

I had the same problem in my 92 Vic. It was the auto delay light switch on the dash.
