I've had my girlfriend try it while I'm at work and didn't work. The previous owner told me when he used to lock it the same way it would make the car alarm go of at at time for a while. But never had a problem starting. I did get it to start twice yesterday but it wouldn't start after that

Sorry next thought would be a corroded wire from the battery. But if your getting some power that probably isn't the case. Do you have qb anti theft ?did you do the safe mode on your radio?

I have found it has been the starter. But this is good information that someone cause use that you have given me!!!

I have replaced the starter and that wasn't it. I hear a click under the dash and under the right side of the engine bay. No crank to starter or anything wat would be causing it

That is where the corroding wire would be.. I have a 2006 and I lost power to it all after a while had a flat bed take it in and they torr it up dash everything (jerks) (elite auto DON'T GO) BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE A WIRE AND THEY didn't even replace it but charged me 400.00 (my insurance paid for the flatbed) but I'm sorry good luck did you check the battery in smart key?
