Question type: General

My son just bought a used 2002 Santa Fe and while bringing it home, noticed the rpm's were close to 3000 while traveling at a rate of about 68-70 mph. I test drove it, but didn't notice the rpm's. Is this normal or is the overdrive not engaging?

Yes, I took my Dodge Ram '07 out the other day on the highway, and didn't realize I had OD off. When I hit the switch and stepped off the gas for a second RPMS immediately dropped from around 3k down to 2,000.
