Battery cables

I have to replace the battery cables on a 1990 ford thunderbird sc  but the casing is gone on the
battery wires so i dont know what cable goes where to be connected i need help

Look on the top of your battery for the "+" and "-" terminals. The positive (Usually red) cable goes on the "+". The negative then goes to the "-". (The negative or ground cable usually goes from the battery to the engine block.)

There is a wire that snapped on my tbird on the positive that ran down by the radiator that was held on by the terminal bolt that snapped what is that wire called?
