stopped running and lost fuel pressure

Asked by GuruBXN7Y Dec 23, 2018 at 07:43 PM about the 1997 GMC Sierra 1500 K1500 SLE 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 gmc with the 5.7, I put in a whole new sending unit (with ac delco pump), fuel filter, and a new pressure regulator. The truck ran fine for about a week, and now it won't start again. I put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail, and it pumps up to about 45psi and bleeds off again like it did before. Any ideas on what i might need to do here?
