Asked by GuruN75MC Nov 08, 2019 at 09:36 PM about the 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 K1500 SL 4WD Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My gmc is an automatic and when I try and drive it it shift from 1st to 2nd fine
then when its time to shift to 3rd it just revs really high. I changed the
transmission pan gasket recently because I had a bad leak there, I thought that
might have been the issue but the new gasket went on fine and I have the
proper amount of tranny fluid in it. Wtf is going on? Can someone please help?
