2005 pt curiser

I have a 2005 pt cruiser that over heats when its
warm/hot outside. The thermometer always goes up
to red when we come to a stop but when we are on
a high way its a less chance of it over heating. Also
will leak coolant making a puddle on the side of car
the car has 106,000 miles PLEASE HELP!

Turn on a/c and see if cooling fans are working. If they do come on when u turn a/c on, replace engine temperature sensor. If they still don't turn on, check for power at the fan plug, if power present, replace fan assy. If no power present, check fuse and relay
