Starter rattling on 05 pt cruuser

Hard to answer this question, rattle while starting, driving, when does it occur. Check if the bolts are tight and contact with the flywheel are correct, If all is OK then listen to the starter itself, if it is grinding, it may be the starter and the motor that turns it. It can be rebuilt. If it's the flywheel, it will shudder when starting because of missing tooth or teeth.
