my 2003 pt cruiser gt goes in reverse but not in drive

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can put my car in reverse just fine, but it will not go into drive.  The shifter works fine and
RPMs go up but the car will not move.  Any suggestions??

Its crazy because the car will go into drive when the engine is cold..any suggestions?
