The tale of my PT cruiser and its ever dinging oil light.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey, I have a quick-ish question about a 2001 pt cruiser and it's oil light. The Light on the dash comes on after about 10 minutes of low impact, normal everyday driving, that is a minor issue, the major one and the one I need help with is it will not just stay on. It dings and re-dings at least once a minute in stop and go traffic.
The oil, oil filter and air filter were all changed just about 2 weeks ago and that did not help the issue. Could it be the oil sensor or is it more likely the oil pump?

You can test your oil pressure to determine is there is a problem with the sending unit or an actual problem with low oil pressure (which may or may not be your oil pump): This video might help explain it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8teB16U0LA
