Stuck in Low Range

Asked by Gavin Mar 21, 2018 at 12:33 AM about the 1992 Ford Explorer 2 Dr Eddie Bauer 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Got stuck on ice and truck went into low range when I
spun my tires. Won’t come out now when I press the
button and when I slow down I get a big clunk noise
before stopping.

I think you need to put it in neutral while stopped to shift out of low range.
