2005 ford Taurus 3.0 ohc  coolant draining fast from somewhere above the rear
Sid if oil pan/plug. What could it be?

Well, I can't see it from here, so have a mechanic who can see it find the leak. This isn't anything you should be playing around with, it could leave you stranded or destroy the engine.

Might be one of your heater core hoses, they are located at the back of the engine near the firewall.
