Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to replace the ignition cylinder because I lost my key but could only afford the non tranunit and now the car won't even turn over the theft light just blinks is it possible to just bypass the pats by disconnecting it in the steering column?

Not really, you should really contact a mechanic or Ford dealer or a locksmith that can install a proper ignition lock cylinder that uses a transponder key, Cut the key, then program the new key to the car. You went through some unnecessary steps and costs.
