1993 Tauras Wagon died while driving to work HELP!!!

I was driving to work when all of a sudden Check engine light then battery light came on seconds later the car just powered off. I was lucky enough to man it over to the side of the road. Any idea what it might be???

eather the serepitine belt broke or the alt was bad and just running off the battery and it just died on you.
