I own a 1993 Ford Ranger xlt and i wanna
do an engine swap and lift it. What is the
best engine that would fit that would give
me more power, torque so i can go
mudding in my ranger. plus what
transmission would work also

A 4.0 L Cologne V6 with a 5-speed 5R55E tranny will fit right in there ....

Will a 2.3l bolt and wire rite into a 98 ranger that had a 2.5l in it need second opinion I think it will

Same question! I have a Mk1 2WD UK spec, would like to upgrade the 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel to a V6 or V8. Can anyone advise?

Hi guys I have a ford ranger 09 pickup with 200,000 on the clock! Always looked after the pickup but as the body is in good condition I thought I would buy another engine for when this one gives up, could anyone give me any advice as to witch engine and where to buy one with low mileage? Thanks

I have a 2010 ford ranger (pk) xlt 4x4 3L 5 speed manual and want more power and grunt i was wondering what would be best for my ute. Maybe the xr6 turbo barra engine or the LS engine? also what would be a better fit and least cost effective thanks.
