ABS problem on a 2006 Ford Escape XLT

Sounds like a lot of guess work goin on here, the tone rings usually bbreak on those axels causing this issue, inspect them carefully by looking at them while turning the wheel, if the light comes on before the car starts moving then you have an electrical issue, if while it starts to move it's most likely mechanical, with incorrect readings from the tone rings. Check and make sure the rings are not broken or missing teeths and the sensors are seated close enough to read the ring

Thanks, The tone rings have been deemed okay, I just had an issue with the rear right and I changed the sensor with an old one that was diagnosed as no good. Now the right side is good and I'm getting a reading that the left rear is the problem. When I change the problem sensor everything works fine for about 10Km. I wish there was a way to bypass the ABS and have the 4x4 work I'm up to $2500 in parts and labor. , same price I paid for the truck. :-( The motor runs great so it's tough to give up on it. Maybe I should by another one arould the same year and keep this one for parts.

What will it cost ( approximately) to get my ABS light off ? On my 2006 Ford Escape.
