I work on a lot of these, yes your alt is charging but It could be a bit higher, If you change the alt this will go away, I know a lady that drove hers for 2 years with the light on. If it is the 3L and your going to take it out to get it tested might as well put in a remand because its a bugger to get the old one out, I hope this helps
