Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put a new battery in my crown Vic a day later I noticed
when I looked outside that the doom light was on. I went

Check the 'door ajar' switch is working properly and not causing the dome light to remain on and various computer modules to remain awake. You may also want to check for other parasitic drains on the battery; see: http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Parasitic-Battery-Drain
