Your saying when you turn the key, the dash lites and everything goes out? A thought, use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts, if much under that, use a charger and get it charged up. Make sure battery connections all good, positive--negative everywhere. leave meter leads across battery posts, have helper turn key to crank, how much does the reading drop or does it drop at all? You could always use a remote starter button hooked up properly at starter to see if starter will crank the engine? Even if it cranks, that doesn't mean it will start. If you try that, make sure transmission is in park or neutral and parking brake is set, make sure it can't move.
