2006 chevy suburban ac/heater

Asked by Anita Jul 14, 2020 at 02:07 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my front ac/heater does not blow unless going at
high speeds for long distances. The back blows
cold and hot still. I have changed the blower motor,
blower motor resistor, blend door actuator, the
relays under the hood and the fuses. I thought it
was the actuator because the old one makes a
buzzing noise when plugged in new one doesn't.
Any one know what the problem might be we are
hitting 109 degree weather i really need my ac

I saw what you replaced, did you check voltage and ground at the blower motor wiring connector? you can use a test lite to check. if two wire connector, hopefully the purple wire is voltage and black wire is ground, according to my wiring diagram. you can take connector loose use both ends of test light at wire connector. Turn on the key, turn on blower control, if test light comes on, you have voltage and ground. if the lite doesn't come on, your missing voltage or ground. I saw two fuses, hvac fuse interior fuse box, goes hot with key on. the other, blower fuse, underhood, hot all the time.check for voltage at the fuses.
