Won't start some times

My 1994 ford ranger 2.3l  won't start when I park it
for the day come out and just cranks over ,squirt a
little start fluid  fires up runs good other wise
changed fuel pump,timing belt, plugs and wire

I would check fuel pressure regulator or at least fuel pressure, and check EVAP system is working, a bad canister purge valve can cause a vacuum leak and allow unmetered air into engine causing hard starts.
