what would cause the passenger side windshield wiper to not work on a 2004 monte carlo

check to see if the ground strap on the motor is cracker off, that happened on mine and i just drilled a hole through and run a bolt and a wsher to re-establish the ground, that took care of it. if that doesnt work take a digital multimeter and see if you have voltage getting there, also check the fuse.
