Does anyone know where i can get a picture of the engine for 3.4L for the 2001 monte carlo ss so i can see the whole engine and a detailed list of all parts?

The best place for this type of diagram and detail is the owner or service manual. Depending on how much you are going to be playing with the engine, I would recommending purchasing the service manual. You can find these relatively inexpensively on eBay.
