want to put a tee in for flushing system

It would be the hose that is downstream of the water pump.

If you intend to flush the core, it does not matter which one is inlet. Take them both off and flush. I looked around and could not find out which is which however, in regard to your question

Ok I found that the upper hose is feed and lower is return
