2007 Toyota Camry XLE (3.5 liter, V6 ) automatic 6spd transmission

Asked by Shamar Sep 28, 2018 at 11:46 PM about the 2007 Toyota Camry XLE V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had this car for almost a year now. I was told the
radiator had a crack in it. That was replaced, also
transmission fluid mixing in with the antifreeze reservoir
tank. I had a used transmission put in. I've also notice the
thermostat gasket was leaking so that was replaced with
the thermostat. After all of this, I've noticed my antifreeze
has been getting low fairly quicker then normal . Found a
leak by the lower clamp, replaced the hoses and the clamp.
That was about 2 months ago. Now I'm seeing bigger
puddles of antifreeze right by the lower clamp. I can tell it's
coming from the clamp by taking my index finger and
rubbing across where the clamp is. I don't know what else
can cause this issue. The car is not overheating, so can
anyone give me tips on what I should do next

Your coolant could be leaking from somewhere else onto your lower radiator hose where it's dripping off at.

It is dry on top of the lower hose, I can see it dripping from the bottom of the lower hose where the clamp is.

I'd try and replace the clamp and if the leak still continues, you can get some UV dye for your coolant at a parts store and see where it's coming from if it's still leaking.
