Will my 4.6L v8 from my 1995 thunderbird fit into my 1996 thunderbird that has a 6cyl in it?

The problem is that the '95 engine is controlled by an OBD1 computer and the '96 is controlled by an OBDII computer, so not real compatible. Plus going from a V6 to a V8 creates more issues. This is possible to do but it is a ton of work. The computers and wiring harness would have to switched out which is the biggest thing.
