Finding the history of a 1978 Corvette - light blue

I have been trying - unsuccessfully - to find the history of a 1978 Silver Anniversary coupe - light blue - looks very good - but I would like to find the actual history (I was told had 3 owners)   How do I find the history (accidents/etc.)

As you have experienced, this is hard to do. Information that far back is nearly impossible due to the fact it's before 1981. Do you have title? What's the vin#?
