how many64 vettes are still around

Original 1964 Corvette numbers where as follows: Total: 22,229 Coupe: 8,304 Convertible: 13,925 I'm not sure how many are still around, as not all Corvettes are registered (not even with the local Registries, as many are sitting, waiting to be registered).

I would guestimate about 1/2 of the original production is on road or in good enough condition to bother with, so about 10-12,000.
