The condenser is used to release heat that the refridgerant has absorbed. It is important that there be no leaks, as A/C systems require a vaccuum. Tube and fins are parts of the condenser. The tubes carry the warm refridgerant and the fins are used to "catch" ambient air and release the heat. -- Be sure to ask them the specific problem with the condenser: Is it a leak? a crack? is it plugged? was it damaged? --- If they are telling you about the flow of the condenser, they are probably just trying to confuse you. The flow doesn't matter, as long as the part they are replacing your old one with is an OEM part, the flow should not make a difference. - Keep us posted.
