just purchased 2003crv

i don't know how to make sure the anti theft alarm is working red light comes on however I believe it is for the radio. also a can't work the 6 cd player. the programed key will open and lock the doors but pressing the  panic button does nothing. thanks . PS I did get a users manual. (where might I get one?)

open a window, lock all doors ,wait a few minutes don a mask, sneak up and reach in and open a door if alarm works ,it works! a manual? e bay or amazon usually
