Corsa Exhaust

Need help on this one .Been looking at after market exhaust The dealer told me they wont install this exhaust cuz its after market and can void the warrenty ,called corsa they said GM used to back there product in 05 but since they started to make exhaust for alot of other vechiles they dident extend factory warrenty .dealer said also they have a performance exhaust in stock for about the same price .The car was enginnered with the stock exhaust would it be worth it for a little more noise .There was a Z06 that caught on fire heres the link check it out. http://jalopnik.com/cars/news/long-island-corvette-z06-has-one-last-smokey-burnout-212368.php
