where does the distributor plug plug into

Ok mine 305 tpfi. All factory. On drivers side you have black, blue and white plugs that all plug into cap together. On passenger side there is a black connector. This one when unplugged tends to fall down on top of trans bell housing by fire wall. (Right behind dist). Will have to search around back there to find it. Hope this helps
