converted to carb

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 350 engine that has been converted to
carb, contains an electric fuel pump in the tank
that pushes out too much pressure to the carb. If I
discontinue it n buy an exterior pump n connect it
to the fuel line on the in-tank could it still pull gas
through the line?

Just put an after market adjustable fuel regulator on it with a gauge.

I tried looking it up, I couldn't find anything that would convert it from 100+ psi to 4-9psi

There are much less expensive fuel regulators that can be used with the external pumps to get you down to 9psi or under.
