Bmw 330i 2002

So I recently put oil in my car and instead of my oil
being black it was brown and had some red in it. Is
it something I should be concerned about

I'd change the oil to make sure, use synthetic oil. ATF is red, so maybe that was poured in by accident, but I doubt it?
