What is the diffrence from a hummer and a hummer h2?

H1 Hummer is the very wide military style unit , mostly diesel engines, and the H2 is the slimmer taller version that travels the roads often today. Most of which are 6.0 litre gas engines.
a hummer is the all american millitery use! the h2 is actualy a gmt820 truck platform same as the chevrolet tahoe and the gmc yukon! and the engine is not all to great either! the h1 is alot taller and wider, better built and not as modern
