What was the max.speed and hp for these models?

On what roads were you able to go that fast in the late 20s and 30s? Legal speeds were about 25 to 30 MPH until they built better roads. Jay

If you had a fast car you could outrun the coppers. Gangsters and bootleggers running booze during prohibition drove as fast as they could.

Model J Duesenberg's could go well over 100 mph and then there were the super charged SJ cars.
