Why do Aston Martins have a keyhole on the door when they give you an ECU. Do they also give you a normal key as well.

You should get a key also in case the ECU goes bad

The key hole is to open the door if the battery is dead or the remote is not working.

They definitely are supposed to come with a key.

are the door/ignition keys the same as the trunk, or are 2 keys required. looking at buying an 87, but trunk will not lock as the key with the car will not turn the tumblers
