turbocharger.. pros and cons

Asked by Dwayne Oct 22, 2015 at 03:25 AM

Question type: Car Customization

I wanted to know what turbocharger can I put on (if possible) to the new
Renault Kwid. As you may know its a 799cc, naturally aspirated, 3 cylinder
petrol engine.

I also wanted to ask if there would be any issues with the engine if I am able
to fit in the turbocharger and how can it be prevented?

A 799cc engine, wow my motorcycle has almost twice that displacement. I am guessing that you do not live in the USA? First, if I were you I would check the local environmental / pollution laws and check to see if putting a turbo on your vehicle is legal. Then proceed, if legal, to locate a turbo kit and try to determine who and where you will get it tuned. It will need a tune upon installing a turbo.
