Sold a motorcycle as one year but VIN is another

Asked by jimandi77 Mar 19, 2016 at 10:49 PM

Question type: General

Just bought what I thought was a 2014 Street Glide Harley Davidson.
Registration states 2014.
Ran the VIN when I got home and it is actually a 2013.
Should I demand money back? Do I have any rights to stop payment on
check?

What is on title and paper work?if it say 13 u may have valid dispute I wouldn't sleep on it if I was u

On the paperwork it is written up as a 2014. When I ran the VIN number once home, it came up as a 2013.

Sound like they overlooked...u need to go back and fix the issue at hand ....and u do have rights as you paid for 14 not 13 ...if they give u hard time contact dmv inspector that usually gets dealer to move faster ...
