Asked and answered in the other question, no, it must be on a raised dolly, if it's an automatic transmission.

Full_of_Regrets, are you sure about that? It's worth a call to double check. See this, it may affect manual transmissions as well, call the dealership. Don't take chances with this. http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f62/2014-forester-xt- cannot-towed-222634/

The flat bed dolly is the surest thing . No problem with that.

There are flat bed trailers and tow dollies for the front two wheels.
