Why is my 1986 oldsmobile cutlass leaking transmission fluid when turned on

There are several places that trans fluid can leak from. First thing to check would be the pan gasket. It could also be the output shaft seal(s), input shaft seal, shift linkage seal, dipstick tube seal, or oil cooler line seals.
