I have 1996 dodge ram 4x4 1500 it's automatic but it won't shift up Rpms would go up mph would catch up but it's not shifting out of 2nd gear it shift out of 1st gear fine any reason why or ideas ?

clutches worn facings, if not run too long like this, you may try a trans service job along with a pressure regulator replacement
