I have a 2012 Altima. It hadn't run for a week or so and it has been very cold.Haven't filled up on gas for 3 or more weeks so water in gas doesn't seem likely. Last week drove it abot 2 miles stopped for around 15 minutes and then when I restarted the car ir would not rev over 1100 rpm's. Had to drive home at 4 mph. Started and turned it off several times no change. Tried it again 4 hours later and everything was fine. what could this be

It does sound like moisture in the lines or tank. It has frozen in the lines or tank and restricted the gas flow. Very cold temperatures will do this. If it is not as cold now you shouldn't have any more problems but if it is as cold just add a bottle of dry gas to the tank.
