Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 03 Trailblazer runs fine while moving, but once you stop at a light it idles rough and at times wants to die.  While stopped it vibrates in the steering wheel.  At loss, the engine lights don't come on so can't run a code. Any ideas?

yes...weak MAIN ground connection...as the voltages will drop from the greater than 300 cold cranking amp connections through this ONE point...in other words the huge amperage requirements of the startermotor and the delicate ignition relay and ECU are inextricably on the same ground....so you must take the battery cable off where it attaches to the frame and with a wirbrush and the chassis to to insure the relays get the 12.5 volts they need to keep the contacts shut...otherwise will stall and die~
