Why does my battery gauge Fluctuate when I turn on my signal lights

not much to go on here, but this is very common in old cars. changed any bulbs or added any lights ? hooked up trailer lights ? tried a new flasher ? cleaned the bulb contacts ? just a couple of thoughts.

I changed the bulbs maybe ill clean the contacts, didn't change the flasher someone told me it might be the cluster and gauge malfunctioning
