To get 350 hp from a brand new 350 sbc crate engine, you'll need to put more than 3000 bucks.. Or, if you are able to do some mechanical stuff on the engine, you can buy the Goodwrench 350 for 1500$ and put an agressive cam, better heads, a good pair of headers and maybe an edelbrock performer intake with a stock Rochester Q-jet. With a good tuning, you can get easily your 350 hp for less than 3000$, unless you want to go over +/- 400 hp in the future.. (in that case, the goodwrench block is not the best, since you'll need new internals parts like pistons and rods..)
